From DOS to iOS

Originally developed during the 1980’s and 90’s at the University of Waterloo, WipFrag pioneered image-based particle size analysis software. Like other long standing, industry-standard software packages, the WipFrag of today bears little resemblance to its primitive ancestor. The original WipFrag was a command-line application that ran on DOS from floppy discs at a time when even importing a small image into a computer was a challenge. The latest version also runs on iOS to analyze images taken with an iPad or iPhone or imported from another camera device.

Momenum is an automated real-time fragmentation analysis system for measuring particle fragmentation (particle size) on multiple conveyors. It is a completely automated analysis system for measuring the size distribution of unconsolidated material on multiple conveyor belts in real time without disrupting production. This technology is highly configurable and performs well in harsh industrial enviroments

New Solo M4  - Online Conveyor Particle Analysis Instrument

Solo is an stand-alone, self-contained, portable automated fragmentation analysis system designed for use on a single conveyor belt. WipWare algorithms along with the latest computers allow for our systems to analyze up to 4 images per second. Solo is capable of outputting Modbus, RS232, OPC and other various signals for vast possibilities in process control.

How It Works!

When material is presented, the camera acquires image samples which are processed onboard. Proprietary edge detection is used to render a polygon network around each particle to instantly generate material specifications such as size distribution, uniformity, shape and more in real time. Because Solo is capable of detecting relative changes or contamination in your process it can reduce energy and maintenance costs, enhance personnel safety and improve throughput and quality control procedures.
