Component Cleanliness Control and ISO 16232

Automotive parts such as fuel and brake systems or cooling device
circuits for air conditioning systems must be free from particles
before they are integrated into automotive systems, as particulate
matter might cause damages and failures. Fluid cleanliness is
controlled before assembly in order to quantify the contamination.
Section 9 of ISO 16232 refers to using particle sizing and counting
by an automatic light extinction particle counter. The Pamas range
of liquid particle counters falls underthis catagory. Contact us for
the most appropiate Pamas instrument to test component cleanliness.
