Micron Scientific offers laser diffraction particle size analysis and viscosity /rheology on a contract basis. We normally require 10 to 20 grams for dry samples and for a slurry, emulsion or suspension similar sample content.
Currently we use a Malvern Mastersizer 3000 laser diffraction particle size analyser and Malvern Kinexus rheometer for these measurements.
In order to facilitate the registration of your samples we require a formal order as well as a description of the samples with all samples submitted. In the case of organic or hazardous samples we also require the relevant MSDS.
Our normal turn-around time is 1-3 working days. Quicker turn-around times are available on arrangement. Results are reported for the laboratory sample as received and no opinion is expressed on the representivity of any bulk sample. All testing and results is treated as confidential.
