Users familiar with the trusty S40 portable counter know the userfriendly download software . It is designed to simply download results from the instrumrent into a LIMS via a CSV file or into Excell.
The same can be said of the PMA software( Particle Measuring and Analysis Software) supplied with the SBSS or SVSS.It records count result vs size classses as well a the relevant standards( ISO 4406, SAE AS 4059, NAS 1638, GOST 17216 etc...)
The Pamas CMDM (Condition Monitoring and Data Management) is less known . This powerfull software package compatible with the S40 or SBSS is desgined to to control the oil contamination for preventive maintenance in hydraulic and lube oil systems. The Pamas PCT ( PAMAS Component Test) is used in test rigs to monitor the cleanliness of components.These include for instance hydraulic systems whose hoses are flushed with a cleaning fluid. The software PAMAS PCT is used in combination with the online particle counters PAMAS S50, PAMAS S50P AVTUR, PAMAS S50P Fuel and PAMAS OLS50P. With the help of this method, it can be tested whether the analysed component is clean and ready for use or if the flushing eventually needs to be repeated.
Pamas POV (PAMAS Software for Online Visualization) is used for the online particle counters PAMAS S50, PAMAS S50P AVTUR, PAMAS S50P Fuel and PAMAS OLS50P. If a particle counter is attached, measuring can be started and stopped with PAMAS POV. The results are displayed in a chart and table and can be printed and exported. The results are assigned to certain sample points. Former measuring results can also be loaded, printed and exported.
Then finaly there is PAMAS USP (Pharmaceutical procedural software). It is used for the data analysis of parenterals, infusion solutions, ophtalmic & oral fluids according to pharmaceutical standards like USP, EP, BP and JP with the particle counter PAMAS SVSS. For higher viscous liquids, the system PAMAS SBSS is used.
The measuring report includes all sample parameters and the numerical and graphical presentation as well as the assessment of the measuring results according to the selected pharmaceutical standard.
The software also allows the user to define internal tests procedures. An automatic data backup can be stored in a preselected location. A software validation package and IQ/OQ validation is also available.
