The FDDS FlexDrop dosing system is a module for the contact angle measuring devices of the OCA series.
The innovative dosing technology and precise control allow the analysis of solid surfaces with the smallest drops
in the nanolitre or picolitre range, with pinpoint accuracy and reproducibility.

The FlexDrop can be equipped with two dosing heads at the same time. This allows simultaneous measurements
on two droplets on structures as small as one square millimetre.

 

 

• Flexible configuration: Dosing heads for drop volumes in the nanolitre or picolitre range are available for the FlexDrop dosing system. The system can also be equipped with two dosing heads at the same time.
• Measurement on delicate surface structures: The smallest surface structures can be precisely analysed with droplets as small as a few picolitres.
• Measurement with viscous suspensions or inks: Using individual test liquid cartridges makes it possible to perform measurements even with viscous suspensions or inks.
• No cleaning of the cartridge: The cartridge for test liquids can be exchanged in a few simple steps and replaced with a new one. This makes it easy to avoid cross-contamination.
• Easy cleaning of the sample surface: Due to the small droplet size, they evaporate quickly. This is particularly advantageous for quality control measurements, as the components can then be further used.
• Surface energy determination with one click: With two dosing heads that can be used in parallel, the surface energy of solids can be determined at the touch of a button.
